The Fashion Icon Award: Iman
She's not only a supermodel, she's a role model and an activist. We expect a passionate speech about how folks can change the world once this beauty accepts her prize.
Supermodel Iman will replace Season 1 co-host Kelly Rowland when Season 2 of "The Fashion Show" kicks off, adding some much-needed style heft to Bravo's latest fashion endeavor.
Bravo's had a tough time creating the kind of hit that could replace Project Runway in its lineup, especially with shows like "Launch My Line," that seemed to place a lower emphasis on design and a higher value on marketability. That said, shows like "Kell On Earth" have upped the network's fashion ante, and the infusion of a real, honest-to-goodness supermodel into "The Fashion Show" (which already has the always-hilarious Isaac Mizrahi as its host) could work some real wonders. As Iman herself said, "This will certainly be a show any follower of fashion will want to see."
