Grace Coddington stole the show and our hearts with her star turn in The September Issue documentary last fall. Now, the beloved Vogue creative director will return to the silver screen in a different capacity, working once again with the doc's director, RJ Cutler to bring to life her book, Catwalk Cats.
It's part of the reason we're so charmed by Ms. Coddington -- she brings a batty Miss Havisham-cat lady to her creative genius in one of the world's most cutthroat style-based institutions. Tempering Anna Wintour's ice in September Issue with her own cheeky eccentricity, Coddington's book about her coterie of cats promises to showcase the best elements of her signature, delightfully droll design to the project.
Cutler seems open to having Coddington serve as the film's voice-over, but that's not currently in the cards. But we think that nothing could snazz up a cat cartoon like having Grace Coddington's conspiratorial British brogue.
