Brooklyn shoppers can rejoice—sort of. After several weeks of little to no evidence indicating the impending arrival of a Brooklyn-based Barneys Co-Op, today Racked reports that signage has finally appeared.
The papering, which features a cartoon-drawn head of Simon Doonan directing curious shoppers to text "BNY" and their email addresses to 50799 for updates via text messaging, also displays October 2010 for its much-anticipated opening. While October will be here before most of us know it, the date is nevertheless later than the original September 10 projection, meaning a Fashion's Night Out party won't be taking place at the retailer after all.
