Gap Joins Forces With Todd Snyder for Limited-Edition Art Tees

The Gap worked with J.Crew alum (and CFDA Swarovski Award nominee for menswear design) Todd Snyder on its latest pop-up shop, located next door to its flagship boutique on 5th Avenue and 54th Street.

Produced in partnership with Threadless, a Chicago-based company devoted to promoting new art talent through affordable T-shirt designs, the "Gap + Threadless" shop—which offers between six and eight new products a week— was at least partially Snyder's idea, WWD reports.

"I presented the idea to Gap," Snyder told WWD. "Art doesn't get the attention it needs...but this brings their art to life."

Open through June 30, the Threadless team combs through more than 300 submissions a day before settling on the winning looks.

For just $29.95, limited-edition fashion (or art, for that matter) is rarely so affordable.
