High-end men's label Gant opened its first dedicated Gant Rugger outpost in the States on Bleecker Street, bringing the relaunched younger collection to casual but well-heeled New Yorkers.
Four years after its relaunch, the dressed-down Gant Rugger has found the biggest audience in the dressed-down United States and hopes to capitalize on that popularity and exposure with the new store to bring it even further. Prices are more relaxed too, with a range of $75-$495 for polo shirts, sweaters, pants shorts and jackets.
The 700-square-foot shop is Gant's second NYC location, joining the brand's flagship on Fifth that sells the regular collection alongside the Rugger line. Execs are hoping that by placing the newest Gant Rugger-only store in the West Village retail hotspot the stage will be set for more stores to come nationwide.
