First Look: Vera Wang's “Very Youthful” Bridesmaid Collection for David's Bridal

Building on the momentum of her successful David's Bridal Collection, White by Vera Wang, the designer has unveiled new bridesmaid dresses, hitting stores in late June, WWD reports.

News of Wang's bridesmaids dresses first arrived earlier this month, but now it sounds like the seven-piece collection will span fashion-forward, one-shoulder silhouettes, tradition strapless cocktail dresses, as well as more formal, full-length gowns, in shades like amethyst, charcoal, moss, and champagne. Though significantly more accessible than her main collection, for which she stopped making bridesmaid dresses last year, Wang pointed out that these new styles are not entirely inexpensive, ranging from $158-$200. In addition, Wang told WWD that collection is apparently meant to have a "very youthful" aesthetic, as the designer looked to her daughters for inspiration.

The dresses will debut with an accompanying line of shoes made for dancing, in four styles including a closed-toe and peep-toe pump, a ballerina flat, and an open-toe bootie, priced between $58-$98.

Wang seems happy with her decision to focus her attention on attendants via David's Bridal, telling WWD that the collection came about "in a much larger and more unusual way with a tremendous amount of support. They are up for anything I am interested in trying."
