To celebrate the film, The Tourist, starring Angelina Jolie, Ferragamo will launch the Red Carpet customization project in select boutiques.
The Red Carpet Project allows shoppers to choose from six styles and 23 satin colorways, with the option for monogramming, to create their own bespoke pair of shoes. In addition to the build-a-shoe initiative, which takes about six weeks to turn around, Ferragamo is reissuing its classic stilletto pump as the limited-edition "Elise" (named after the film's main character, played by Jolie, who wear's a specially-designed Ferragamo collection throughout the film).
While pricing details have yet to be released, we imagine the new custom and Tourist-inspired styles will be reserved for only the luckiest gift recipients this holiday.
