At this time last year, Target was rolling out a hugely anticipated collaboration with Rodarte in time for the holiday crunch. This year, the brand has opted for a less fashion-forward partner in Wiliam Rast, the brand launched by Justin Timberlake and pal Trace Ayala.
Needless to say, the collaboration has not been nearly as buzzed-about in fashion circles as, say, Lanvin's recent collaboration with H&M, or even the recent Mulberry for Target collection. As such, it's no surprise that the retailer chose to debut the William Rast for Target line among the celebrities in Los Angeles, as The Feast LA reports, as opposed to New York's fashion-forward set. The one element that parallels last year's Rodarte launch, however, was the appearance of Rachel Bilson. [The Feast LA]
