Ellen vintage boutique had been presumed closed by neighborhood blog Bowery Boogie when it quickly and quietly vacated its 122 Ludlow Street space a few weeks ago. Then this week, some good news -- it looks like proprietess Ellen Koenigsberg has just moved the charming boutique across the street to 123 Ludlow.
With a pretty decent tenure of more than seven years on the Lower East Side vintage scene, Ellen sent many into a temporary state when it appeared to be closed for good, so we're sure no small number of local shoppers are breathing a sigh of relief. The new space is actually the former home of Swedish organic clothing boutique Ekovaruhuset.
