Diane von Furstenberg Reportedly Designing a Line for Gap Kids

Rumors have been swirling for more than a month that Diane von Furstenberg will be the next big-name designer to collaborate with Gap Kids, and now, sources are telling WWD that the sketches look like a spring/summer 2012 concept.

That places the potential line of little girls' dresses and such a season behind the originally-speculated back-to-school schedule, but either way, will likely drive anticipation for the designer-grandmother's trademark splashy prints on kid-sized duds.

Should the line become a reality, DVF will be folling a wildly successful two-season run by Stella McCartney for Gap Kids -- a line that proved so popular, Carla Bruni was even spotted wearing a boy's jacket from the collection.
