Luxury jewelry designer David Yurman traded up for a posh new flagship space on Madison Avenue, opening today.
The new shop will feature 2,000 square feet of retail space in three stories of the converted five-story townhouse up the block from its former, smaller location. The main floor houses women's jewelry, while men's jewelry and timepieces share the second floor with a bar and a flat-screen TV. The "newness" bridal and couture lines are showcased upstairs on the third floor, the latter of which was revamped and includes one-off opus items upwards of $1 million.
Yurman runs the business alongside his wife Sybil, who serves as chief marketing officer and son Evan, the man responsible for the invigorated and spectacular couture collection.
