Courtney Love Sued Over $114,000 Worth of Unreturned Jewelry

Even when she's trying to be on her best behavior—and look the part—trouble always seems to find Courtney Love. In today's second round of jewelry-related news, Jacob & Co., the bling empire founded by Jacob the Jeweler, a favorite amongst the hip hop set, is suing Courtney Love for $114,000 worth of unreturned jewelry.

In a lawsuit filed yesterday, the jewelry company claims that the singer has yet to return two white gold and diamond chains, and a pair of white gold and diamond pave earrings, which she borrowed on September 21. According to the Huffington Post, Love claimed she lost the baubles, however the jeweler's lawyer Jeffrey Klarsfeld says her agreement indicated that she was responsible for the pieces, "regardless of loss or damage."

Since Jacob & Co. is suing Love for the jewelry's safe return, or its cash value, it looks like Love may have to drum up some funds.
