Clippings: Versace Wins $20M in Counterfeiting Case Edition

- In yet another win for fashion in the escalating war against counterfeiting, Versace was recently awarded $20 million in a counterfeiting case. The label had leveled charges that 72 stores in Arizona and California were selling counterfeit Versace wares. Considering all the counterfeit issues of late, the Fashion Caucus in DC is looking more and more like a brilliant idea. [Vogue UK]

- Fashionair, the site launched by Net-a-Porter's Sojin Lee and Simon Fuller, is now officially on "hiatus," with no immediate plans to get back up. The fault lies not with the editorial -- Lee has rather exquisite taste -- but a recent "investment review" by the parent company of 19 Entertainment (which started Fashionair) in the wake of Fuller's exit has apparently put things on hold.
