Christies Auction House and Gucci Archive Department are now welcoming Gucci Collectors to upload photos of their stuff to get a free appraisal and option to sell, kind of like Antiques Road Show for designer bags.
It should be interesting for all -- from potential very lucky owners to the Christies costume department and Gucci Archives -- to see what kind of treasures have been idling in closets across the world. Some may fetch enough value to sell under the certified appraisal while others may even hold interest for the brand for historical purposes.
For those of you who've lived a life more privileged than others, you may want to grab those vintage Guccis away from the kids' dress-up trunk or hold off on bedazzling gran's old duds for ironic appeal and, instead, upload a pic.
