We hit up makeup artist Scott Barnes' book launch party to get beauty tips from J. Lo (pop on over to Niteside for the complete party coverage), but ended up having the most fun with Christian Siriano, who gave us the inside line on his soon-to-debut collection, as well as how he gets his hair to stay like that.
The verdict on fall seems to be "very dark, mysterious, and a bit of a '60s vibe." Oh, and of course, the emphasis on glamour and evening gown that's essentially the reason his shows are bliss to attend every season (even if we never really get a chance to wear something of his). Someone who did get to wear one of his dresses was Christina Hendricks -- an over-the-top peach confection. Now, while we didn't actually think it suited her all that well, we will say that it was refreshing to her Siriano talk about how much fun it was to dress a "real woman." Word.
As for how he gets that signature spiky 'do -- you'll just have to watch the clip.
