Starting October 28, the UK-based emporium, Accessorize is kicking off its aggressive US expansion plan with the opening of its first store at 329 Bleecker, to be quickly followed up a second NYC opening in Union Square on November 18.
Having accessorized fashion-savvy Brits with everything from bags, shoes and jewelry to hats, scarves lingerie and hosiery—and home items to boot—for over 40 years, we're predicting the brand's entree to the US will be as well-received as another UK import, Topshop, especially given its similarly-priced goods.
The two stores will be offering a special stars-and-stripes clutch purse to celebrate their American outposts, the managing director (and founder's son), George Simon tells WWD. This is one arrival we'll glady wave the welcome flag for.
