Bodkin Designer Eviana Hartman Designs Eco Line for Hessnatur

Eviana Hartman of the Ecco Domani-winning, eco-loving line, Bodkin, has completed her first in a series of capsule collections for German-based clothing company, Hessnatur, and it's only available online in the U.S.

The 10-piece line is comprised of neutral-hued knits, all, of course, constructed in keeping with the organic, environmentally-conscious formula adhered to by both Hartman and Hessnatur.  Renowned in Europe for its longstanding "green" stance on fashion, Hessnatur began designer collaborations with Miguel Adrover in fall 2008.

The descriptions of gray, beige and black patched leggings, tunics and a boiled wool biker jacket sounds downright luxurious - hello, pajama-chic. And prices also hit the sweet spot at $75 to $248.

The first-time experience for Hartman exposed the designer to the joys of a large company. She says this about Bodkin's two-person team: It "really limits the scope of what you can do in terms of creating new supply chains." Is she hinting at much more to come from Hartman x Hessnatur? Wethinks.
