Beyonce is Launching a Maternity Line

In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, diva and mom-to-be Beyonce discussed both her style influences as well as her own fashion news: The star is currently working on a maternity collection with her mother, Tina Knowles, to add to the House of Dereon line.

"All I see now are clothes that are flattering on a pregnant woman," she says. "It's been so exciting for me! I love figuring out designs that still make me feel edgy and sexy while pregnant. Flowy fabrics are always flattering," she says, "but I still rock my stilettos."

Beyonce and her mother have worked on the House of Dereon line together for years, and the star even walked the runway in London last month to help celebrate the line's launch at Selfridges. Beyonce was also a surprise fixture at the Spring 2012 collections at Fashion Week, demonstrating a serious interest in the fashion industry beyond red carpet dresses.

In addition to noting fashion influences from Kate Moss to Azzedline Alaia (who can apparently dance the "Single Ladies" routine), Beyonce tells the magazine that her most stressful red carpet moment was actually at the MTV Music Awards, where she revealed she was pregnant. The flowy Lanvin caftan that she ultimately chose for the event was apparently one of almost 70 ensembles she debated wearing.
