Grim and Grimmer: American Apparel Update

Whether you're being D-Listed, or delisted, it's not a good thing—especially for American Apparel. The retailer is getting a beating these days, making it all the more unlikely for the embattled company to put its best foot forward towards recovery.

According to WWD, American Apparel received a letter from the American Stock Exchange (NYSE AMEX) yesterday, informing of its risk of being delisted from the exchange due to the late filing of its second-quarter results, which were due June 30. The company said it plans to get its act together by November 15, however it's gonna take more than a change in style direction to keep this sinking tanker afloat.
