It seems livestreaming his Fall 2010 collection just wasn't enough for wunderkind Alexander Wang, who managed within 48 hours to commandeer a massive billboard in Times Square for his Saturday show.

Wang had originally planned (along with several other designers) to livestream his show on SHOWstudio, but it seems he just couldn't shake the urge to go even bigger. As he told WWD, "This is a New York brand, and so much of our inspiration is from here," Wang continued, "I wanted to bring it to the people of New York and make it a part of the landscape."

And, apparently, if you're Alexander Wang, amazing things can happen in a very short amount of time. Wang approched American Eagle  about using the gigantic LED screen outside their 46th and Broadway outpost, and the whole affair was settled within 24 hours.

The show is scheduled to be broadcast at 6PM on Saturday, though we'd doubt it'll start on time, both because of technical snafus and the fact that Wang's show is rapidly becoming the Marc Jacobs of 2010 -- too many fancy people for everyone to manage to get seated on time.
