Housing Works is feting its new Hell's Kitchen location in style by hosting a special Alexander McQueen silent auction, complete with preposterously low prices and a decent selection through April 11.
Early on in the auction, the array of pants, jeans, skirts, gowns and a few men's pieces still hover around the $40 mark, and McQueen's fall 2007 leather and fur gown, originally priced at $15,000, is up to a mere $217.50. This is McQueen we're talking about, people! Not only is the auction a fitting tribute, all to be benefit a worthy cause, it's also a spectacular opportunity to get your hands on some killer vintage pieces.
