While most equate the Adidas brand with it sporty footwear, Adidas Originals -- the heritage-focused arm of the megabrand -- is planning to try its hand at denim for spring. The label plans to debut to men's styles and two women's fits in eight washes, including skinny and boyfriend silhouettes for women and slim-cut and relaxed fits for men. Each pair will retail for about $105, putting it in line with competitive brands like Diesel and True Religion.
Staying true to its sneaker roots, Adidas has equipped its new blues with a nifty sneaker guard at the cuff, to protect dye from running onto one's lighter-colored Adidas kicks.
The jeans are set to arrive in Adidas Originals stores January 20.
