If You Buy One Thing, Buy This: Brands' Best

Hermès invented the status bag with its legendary Kelly and Birkin styles, but the label's true signature is its silk scarf, being celebrated with the "I Love my Scarf" tribute and how-to website and fanzine this fall. It sets the test for an icon: grandmother looks downright glamorous with hers tied at the neck, but take it and style it in your own cheeky way, and it's at the height of modern chic.
