On the heels (ahem) of sister company Banana Republic's collaboration with Cole Haan, the Gap teams with Keds on a preppy, fancy-footed co-collection for fall.
The sneakers' initial sketches have the air of casual gamine in prints like purple polka dots, navy blue birds and camo denim (men will also get their own in the brand's Anchor style). The Keds will hit Gap stores in July and will retail between $40-$50. Something about the line has us thinking of a slightly more laid-back version of the Banana/Cole Haan gear, much like the respective personas of the brands themselves.
So, come fall, if you're in the mood to re-create a back-to-prep-school vibe in your wardrobe, these kicks seem like just the trick.
