In Celebrity Fragrance News, Taylor Swift Signs with Elizabeth Arden

Teen megastar Taylor Swift signed with Elizabeth Arden to create a scent for fall 2011.

The country-pop singer and victim of the infamous Kanye-at-the-VMAs incident became a Cover Girl this year, and will follow up the endorsement with a lucrative fragrance deal.

Swift told WWD she's thrilled to get to work, exuding her now-trademark bright-eyed-and-bubbly energy. We're guessing the fragrance will be something sweet and squeaky clean.

It's a little risky for many of today's celebrities to announce frangrances that won't be released for another year—who's to say their 15 minutes of fame won't be up by then—although we'd argue that Swift has more staying power than most.
