On a sunny block in Nolita, Project Runway graduate Christian Siriano has quietly opened doors to his first-ever boutique, located at 252 Elizabeth Street.
Just down the block from shops like Cynthia Vincent, Dolce Vita and Tory Burch, the cozy boutique (approximately 1,000 square feet, WWD reports) is sure to see plenty of foot traffic as the designer introduces New Yorkers to his sports and ready-to-wear collections—both of which have been overshadowed by his memorable eveningwear looks.
Of course, shoppers can still scoop up one of Siriano's gorgeous gowns (around $2,000) at the new shop. But, happily, Racked NY reports that a number of wares appeal to price-conscious shoppers, including silky tops for $120 or Siriano's cool Payless kicks.
Come September, Siriano will christen the new shop (elegantly appointed with black-lacquered bookshelves and pale lilac walls) with a splashy Fashion's Night Out soiree, by which point homewares and jewelry will be in stock.
