Sneak Peek: Sonia Rykiel for H&M

The much-anticipated Sonia Rykiel for H&M collection hits stores this Saturday, and as promised, the collection features wonderfully retro lingerie pieces with a dash of Rykiel's signature Parisian-girl chic.

Most of the advertising campaigns have featured a black lingerie set with playfully well-placed pink rosettes that we'll admit we weren't particularly enamored with, so the latest images on WWD give hope for the rest of the line, especially this dusty pink silky set with '50s high waists and what the label is calling "Hollywood homewear," i.e. cool kimonos and a one-shoulder dress.

The collection will encompass some 70 pieces, running from around $30 for bras to some $114 for the home items. In an interesting twist, the entire collection will be available at H&M stores and Rykiel boutiques simultaneously, which the label hopes will create more of a connection between the lower-priced line and the insider-favored French boutique brand.
