In exciting designer-retail collaboration news, shabby-hipster-chic chain Anthropologie has signed the design duo behind Ruffian to create an exclusive collection of clothing and homewares. The collection, called Mise en Scene, will hit stores in November.
A hint of what's to come: silk blouses and dresses in an exclusively created print, 40s-inspired camel coat and hand-seamed hosiery, making it sound all very ladylike retro, and knowing both Ruffian and Anthropologie, there's sure to be some quirk swirled in as well. The November offerings will be the first of four collections designed by Ruffian's Brian Wolk and Claude Morais, and the housewares will expand to include bedding next year.
