Photoshop Ban Continues with New Study

A new study released by Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) in the UK flames the fire to ban digitally enhanced images in media targeted towards adolescents younger than 16 years old.

Surprise! Unrealistically Photoshopped pictures of women make young girls feel bad about themselves and engage in unhealthy behavior.  So says the CAP study signed by more than 40 academics from the US, UK, Australia and Brazil, that comes right on the heels of a proposal made by six French politicians for a law requiring all altered images to be labeled accordingly.

A movement toward more naturally depicted models? Amen.
