This is why we love presentations: A designer like John Patrick can present his collection in a cool, prohibition-inspired bar in midtown, complete with models lounging on banquettes and supermodel Shalom Harlow tending bar.

Inspired by a photo he saw of the Krazy Kat club in the 1920s, Patrick (a 2008 Vogue/CFDA Award finalist) designed his entire collection around the idea of a retro-inspired Bohemia. Each girl had her own personality -- here a louche damsel in a printed sundress, there a literary type in slouchy pants and a trim blazer -- pulling together incrediby unique pieces like hand-panted chiffon dresses and washed silk separates.
