In honor of O, The Oprah Magazine's 10th anniversary next May, Oprah Winfrey is apparently already requesting permits to shut down portions of the West Side Highway for a massive public block party.
An O representative told the New York Post that the magazine is "looking forward to celebrating in a big way," which an E! Online report says will likely include a celebrity-studded blowout at Radio City Music Hall, in addition to the aforementioned block party.
While none of the specifics are as yet confirmed, the very fact that the magazine is making permit inquiries 8 months in advance of the anniversary does suggest that some very, very big plans are afoot. O is published by Hearst, whose offices are on West 57th in New York, which would suggest that the massive bash would, indeed, take place in Manhattan.
