Topshop's designer collaboration with up-and-coming talent Louise Goldin (sometimes referred to as the "Queen of Knits") has produced some seriously sexy results for winter, from skintight leggings to semi-sheer dresses.
Goldin's a newcomer to Topshop, having first held her solo show in 2007 after graduating from Central Saint Martins. Needless to say, it was the knitwear that really made the critics first take notice of the young designer, and Goldin's talent is clearly visible in some of these sci-fi-inspired separates -- the curve-hugging color-block and panel dresses look like something straight off the Starship Enterprise, while the skintight black leggings and dresses -- which feature incredibly sexy sheer panels -- are decidedly Battlestar Galactica.
Goldin's clearly showing prowess in more areas than just knits, however -- images from her latest shoe collection for Topshop were recently revealed to rave reviews, though we'll admit the plethora of spikes involved makes us a little anxious to wear them on crowded Manhattan sidewalks.
