Ungaro's new "artistic advisor" is trying to pack the front row with some serious star power for the brand's big Spring 2010 runway show on Sunday in Paris. It's the buyers, however, that LiLo should be worried about.
Lohan's been twittering like crazy the past couple of days, entreating everyone from Miley Cyrus to Charlotte Ronson to attend the show. For Miley, she even suggested that she'd designed the entire collection herself: "@mileycyrus will you be in Paris this week? would you like to come to the Emanuel Ungaro show for the new collection i've designed love? xo*"
She went on to send similar messages to Lily Allen, and also expressed some sadness at Sarah Silverman apparently being unable to attend: "woman! Why can't you be @ my show for Emanuel Ungaro in Paris :(" We'll see who makes it through the Twitter invite list to the front row.
Despite the potential for star power, it seems several buyers have backed out of attending the show due to Lindsay's collaboration with the brand. Now, we know celebrities often create buzz, which can lead to sales, but one always wants the top-name buyers to attend, regardless.
