Isabel Marant Store to Open in February; Jerome Dreyfuss Next Door

This morning brought more details on French designer Isabel Marant's long-awaited New York store, opening February on Greene Street. Best of all, turns out the designer's husband -- handbag designer Jerome Dreyfuss -- will be opening up his own shop right next door.

Marant's new space at 55 Greene Street (on the corner of Broome) apparently will carry Isabel Marant's main collection as well as her lower-priced line, Etoile, and jewelry. According to WWD, Marant chose the building because it has "an authentic New York style," complete with Soho's signature columns, high ceilings, and massive windows.

Jerome Dreyfuss, also a French talent, has developed a cult following much like his wife's, so indie fashionistas in the city will no doubt be giddy over the new ability to wander down to Soho and snap up wares from both designers in one swoop. Dreyfuss's new space will be located at 475 Broome Street.
