CHICAGO - JULY 18: A sign is seen on the exterior of a Target store July, 18, 2006 in Chicago, Illinois. Heightened concerns that energy prices are slowing consumer spending helped to drag shares of Target down today for their biggest one-day percentage slide in eight months. For any New Yorkers who haven't witnessed the ad-covered 6 train announcing the opening of Target's newest NYC-based location, the megastore will open its doors in Harlem's East River Plaza on Sunday July 25.
Now style mavens hoping to get their hands on the newest designer collaborations, like the forthcoming Tucker collection on September 10, will have an alternative to Brooklyn's Atlantic Terminal. For discount seekers, the multi-level center, which also houses a Best Buy and Costco, offers even more incentive to head uptown for bargains.
East River Plaza's Target opens July 25 at 116th Street and FDR Drive.
