It's official: ultimate indie girl and former Alexander Wang muse, Erin Wasson, will be putting on a truly epic show in the Bryant Park tents for fashion week. Specifially, she's landed herself a "primetime" slot at 8PM on September 11.
The move has us all raising our eyebrows, since we were thinking it was practically inevitable that she would show downtown at Milk Studios with the rest of the upstarts (she showed there last season, anyway). But apparently the designer has bigger plans for her Erin Wasson x RCVA line: "I mean, it's almost too predictable to do something 'cool' in, like, an abandoned warehouse. Cool can happen anywhere."
Well said, Wasson. We look forward to your "unpredictable" show, which so far apparently includes a multi-media installation and a live (as-yet-to-be-announced) rock band. Can you say "awesome"?
