Doo.ri: Spring 2010

We love Doo.ri for the line's feminine, flattering and timeless pieces that feel undeniably youthful.  Spring 2010 strikes just the right balance between sophisticated and edgy- a collection we implore all young starlets out there to pay attention to.

The color palette, as most of Fashion Week has presented, was muted with a few note-worthy accents.  At Doo.ri they were coral and royal blue.  Ruffles, however, were the main attraction- a particularly ornate ivory blouse that seemingly spilled ruffled layers received a few gasps.

Dresses of the ultra short variety were the main attraction and rightfully so, they were detailed with tiny ruffling and pleating that gave them an architectural feel while still maintaining the soft and feminine silhouette Doo.ri is known for.

Several versions of shorts were shown and almost all contained a kind of awkward ruffle across the top that gave the illusion of a small apron.   Never the less, the collection felt like it offered some pretty stellar options in the way of event (film premiere?) dressing and, as any of Doo-Ri's older peers in the business would probably atest, that's the perfect way to keep your name in the fashion game.
