Cynthia Rowley, Roxy, Collaborations

Cynthia Rowley Goes Surfer Girl for Roxy

Cynthia Rowley Goes Surfer Girl for Roxy
WWD

A collaboration that literally blossomed on the beach in Montauk, Cynthia Rowley for Roxy will bring surfer girl styles exclusively to Barneys in New York and Colette in Paris in March.

Although New York and Paris may seem like curious choices to host the exclusive on Cynthia Rowley for Roxy, the surfwear brand's first collaboration with an outside designer, we are psyched we'll get to see it firsthand first.  Rowley met Roxy executive vice president of marketing, Randy Hild, while both were surfing out east.  The avid surfers excitedly conceived of what is now a line of bathing suits, board shorts, hoodies and cover-ups with a blend of sporty, sexy and whimsical pop.

According to Hild, segueway into the fashion arena has been a goal of Roxy's.  Cynthia Rowley surely gets them off to a good start.
