Clergerie to Collaborate with Opening Ceremony

As though Opening Ceremony didn't have enough collaborators of late between Chloe Sevigny and Spike Jonze's "Wild Things," insider favorite Robert Clergerie will make four exclusive shoes for the downtown emporium.

The designer will debut four exclusive styles for Opening Ceremony in February, one being an espadrille style that Clergerie first introduced back in 1990. According to WWD, the other pairs will include eye-potting fabrics like linen polkadots and hand-painted florals. Much like the other footwear in the store -- from the eponymous label's much-enamored platforms and Chloe Sevigny's sold-out buckled bootie -- these new shoe will retail for a rather handy sum: about $460.
