Boutique Beat: Acne at Castor & Pollux, New Jewelry at Oak

Our weekly roundup of what's on the racks right now at some of our favorite spots.

CHANGE OF SEASON
New vintage wares available include Victor & Rolf, Stella McCartney, Galliano, Margiela, and McQueen. There's a team roster we can get behind. (341 E. 9th Street)

CASTOR & POLLUX
A new shipment of truly stunning Acne pieces just arrived, as well as beautiful winter scarves and a brand-new shipment of wallets (the first round sold out, so pick up yours now). (228 West 10th St.)

BIRD
Rachel Comey's short boot is already sold out, and the designer's other double-buckle booties are going fast, so stop by now to snap up yours. While you're there, take a look at the store's new selection of Jerome Dreyfus bags -- we're coveting the lambskin bag with fringe ... (Shopbird.com for locations in Brooklyn)

KAIGHT
The Coclico Alemos bootie (in gray, exclusively for Kaight) sold out earlier this fall, but now the LES boutique has it back in stock. Plus, if you're looking for great knits for fall, we'd suggest Hortensia Handmade's luscious scarves and berets. Lastly, don't forget Prairie Underground items are 20 percent off through Sunday. (83 Orchard St.)

OAK
The store's best-selling jewelry line, Chrishabana, just dropped in stores and online, but the biggest thing going on are the events. Stop by the Kaylee Tankus presentation tonight from 7-10, or attend the event with Eskuche and Fixed with CMJ band the XX at Tribeca Grand on Saturday. Everyone in the store is also awaiting the launch of British-based Horace tomorrow, since the collection of rocker tees blew out of the stores last season. (28 Bond Street in Manhattan; 208 North 8th Street in Brooklyn)

THISTLE & CLOVER
A new Lily & Jae shipment includes the sweetest pinwheel-printed shirtdress and oversize black grandpa gardicans. Geek chic perfection. (221 DeKalb Avenue)
