We popped into the Alicia Keys pop-up, showcasing her jewelry line, "The Barber's Daughter," with Gisele Thierault, in the Lower East Side. Think lots of spiritual sayings and earthy accents on sterling silver.
Set in the spare Collette Blanchard Gallery on Clinton Street, the pop-up was enjoying a healthy crowd on its opening day. We scoped out chunky silver cuffs inscribed with inspirational words, necklaces with tassels and buddha heads and silver cage watches with hand-painted faces - all blending natural neutrals with brilliant pops of color on various stones.
No sign of Ms. Keyes, but perhaps she'll swing by the VIP launch party tomorrow night.
