Giving a literal, and beautiful new spin on the term "book bag", Olympia Le-Tan's line of reproduced first-edition book covers re-purposed into clutches has our bookworm chic little hearts soaring.

Le-Tan was inspired by the classic tomes that filled her childhood home, and managed to breathe new life into the perhaps lost art of cover design without sacrificing its classic character with her bags.  Each bag is an impeccably close copy of 16 first-edition books including The Catcher in the Rye, Le Rouge et Le Noire et Armance, Le Grand Horloger, The Misfits, The Pearl and Le-Tan's personal favorite, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter.  The collection is called "You Can't Judge a Book by its Cover," and features bags made from storybooks and lined with Liberty patterned fabric and simple hardware.

No dust on these jackets, but all the bookish charm.
