We're Loving: Michelle Obama's Toywatch

What makes Michelle Obama's fashion choices so wildly popular? They're wearable, yes, but more importantly, they're exciting.  Case in point: the Ultra-Violet Neon Plasteramic Toywatch she's been sporting in recent days.  The Italian costume timepieces serve as a high design smack of bubblegum, making Michelle's purple one a breath of fresh, punky air.

The Michelle formula of style icon dressing has been studied since her inauguration as First Lady because she's mixed the practical (J. Crew) with the fashion insider point of view (Isabel Toledo, Jason Wu), in risky prints and statement necklaces.  It's on kick-back days, when she sends fashion junkies like us what seems like a subliminal message - it's not just a show, she really knows, and loves, to dress well. 

We're thinking Toywatch will play into the melee of costume pieces for fall, with a little help from both Michelle and Kanye.
