The American Eagle has Landed on Times Square

More of an American Eagle Universe than merely a store, the new 25,000-square-foot flagship comes with 15,000 square feet of LED signage, New York-themed undies and nearly as many bras as square footage.

NYC's fourth AE outpost dwarfs any other location in the chain, with the next-largest shop being only half the size.  The gigantic flagship will house a Denim Library of X pairs of jeans, 7.500 bras and pretty lingerie in the Bra Conservatory.  "Line-busters" include handheld POS check-out available throughout the store (a la Apple store, we presume) and last, but certainly not least, customers will get their "15 Seconds of Fame" on the way out, posing for a snapshot that will be broadcast on the mammoth Times Square LED display outside.

AE CEO Jim O'Donnell projected about 20% exclusive merchandise to the store, including undies printed with neighborhood maps, subway maps, apples and taxis - how cute - and other special-edition items such as "Run Central Park" and "Run NYC" tees designed by graffiti artists.

Sounds like it'll be overwhelmingly true-to-form with the neighborhood.
