Yves Saint Laurent is getting ready to distribute its "Manifest" fashion catalog beginning February 16 in New York. The first 2,000 recipients will get theirs in a tote printed with the strawberry motif that features prominently in the spring collection.
Once New Yorkers get first dibs, the catalogues will be handed out in Paris, London, Milan, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Berlin February 20. In addition to the street teams, YSL is going hip with a social media component, posting three behind-the-scenes videos of the making of the catalogs starring Natalia Vodianova on YouTube, Facebook and YSLManifesto.com.
Keep your eyes peeled for what we imagine to be very weighted-down YSL ambassadors in the streets next week.
