We love the city and all its iconography -- the "We Are Happy to Serve You" coffee cup, the apple -- though we haven't yet found something as quirky as designer Kristin Victoria Barron's true-to-size sterling silver rendition of a taxi cab receipt, strung on a cord.
We must admit, we like the idea of transforming something that would otherwise just stay crumped in a coat pocket and turning it into a memento, though we might be more interested in the necklace if it was, perhaps, a taxi ride that held some personal significance. (The taxi we took to our first-ever fashion show, perhaps?) For those who just can't get enough of the city's paraphernalia -- no matter how fringe -- this $250 piece is available at the Future Perfect.
