Without comment in response, nor reasons cited, there's a notion Jean Paul Gaultier may resign as Creative Director for Hermes following his Spring 2010 collection, showing in October. Hermes has flourished critically and financially (even during the recession) with Gaultier at the helm since 2003, and owns a 35% stake in the designer's own label, so we're not sure what the claims are founded on at this point.
