Fans of the bandage-like thigh-high boots that marched down the runway at Rodarte's Fall 2009 collection will soon be able to own their very own pairs of the intimidating footwear: The bondage boots, designed by Nicholas Kirkwood, are set to hit Opening Ceremony (in limited quantities) this fall.

Kirkwood described the boots as a "straight jacket for legs" (which we're not entirely convinced makes them sound all that comfortable), and was inspired by Rodarte's mummy-like fall collection of wrapped, skintight dresses.

For those who simply must have a pair (and feel capable of affording such fantasy footwear), e-maile the Opening Ceremony folks at online@openingceremony.us for more information.
