Wish List: Surface to Air Buckled Bootie
Gargyle

This whiplash-inducing, limited-edition bootie is only available at one place in the whole country -- downtown gem of a boutique, Gargyle, and it just became available on pre-sale.

For anyone who loves a good statement shoe, one would be hard pressed to find something more covetable than this: It has the over-the-top animal print that's become so on-trend for fall, as well as a buckled front that calls to mind the Chloe Sevingy for Topshop bootie that sold out almost instantly. Even better, it costs quite a bit less than the Opening Ceremony bootie -- at $415 it's certainly not cheap, but it's also not prohibitively expensive (see: Christian Louboutin leopard print booties).

Best of all, this shoe is actually quite comfortable -- we've profiled Surface to Air's platform lace-up in the past, and have been seriously impressed with the brand's comfort level overall. And if there's one thing better than a head-turning leopard platform, it's a head-turning leopard platform that won't destroy one's feet.

Gargyle is located at 16A Orchard Street.
