Behold it in all its glory -- the final poster for "Iron Man 2!" Mickey "Whiplash" Rourke emerging from an inferno... a pensive Don Cheadle... a proud and defiant Robert Downey Jr... Scarlett Johansson's bidness wrapped in a skin-tght bodysuit... Gwyenth Paltrow... So where are Sam Rockwell and Samuel L. Jackson?
Rockwell plays Justin Hammer in the upcoming blockbuster, a rival industrialist who's got it for our hero. Hammer is the money behind the madman, funding Rourke's plans to exact revenge on Tony Stark. Rockwell is one of his generations great wasted talents, an actor who's never really found the audience he deserves, but that's no reason to leave him off the poster -- he is the villain, after all.
And Jackson's exclusion is even more puzzling. He returns as Nick Fury, the head of S.H.I.E.L.D., and is scheduled to appear in "Thor," "The Avengers" and his own feature, "Nick Fury." Add to that the fact that he's an icon of badassedness, and it begs the question why you would exlcude him, as well?
